My ROOMIE is GRADUATING!!!!!

Well, tomorrow my roomie is graduating! I am so excited to finally not be the only graduate! I never realized that being in school really is living the life! Since the day I graduated, I have been busting my ass to become a part of a company that I believe in, and would want to work for….but with this economy, I have had no luck thus far. I remember being so enthusiastic, sending out my resumes to literally 80 companies the day after graduation. I went on a few interviews here and there, but nothing really felt like a place I would prosper. I found a job as a receptionist at a spa… a beautiful one at that… if you need some pampering definitely hit up Gilded Spa and Salon- having worked there, I know that the people there are credible and you will be treated like first class. Plus, the whole atmosphere and design of the place is at least worth a visit. But due to cutting hours, my job was terminated… like literally 2 days ago. So… I am back on the hunt. It is definitely discouraging, but I look at it as one door closing and another opening. I still remain optimistic. I plan on moving to Chicago at the end of August- and find an incredible company to work for there. I mean have you SEEN my Resume!!?!? I am not tooting my own horn, but I am definitely worth a second glance!

Well I am wishing everyone the best of luck with graduation and post graduation! I know everyone is going to become something great… and I can not wait to see what the future holds for each one of us!

I am welcoming the harsh realities of this “new world” as a graduate and strapping on my helmet, and going full force ahead… I am ready to take the world by storm!!!
